ASCETIC 1 + 1 = 1

Based on N. Kazantzakis' Asceticism, the performance unfolds the thread of life, the path to death, the relationship of the body with the earth and finally the consciousness of man as a human being.

The philosophical-existential mood of the text is transformed into action of the body, with the contribution of image and sound.

The musicians with their live presence on stage act directly in relation to the choreography but also to the video projection.

All the elements of the show (dance - image - sound) are structurally necessary and contribute to the creation of an organically tied whole.

Everything is changing

Everything is changing

The performance "Everything changes" took place in 2006 at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Berthold Brecht.

The show was based on music and singing and included video screenings. Georgia Sylaiou was the singer, Sakis Papadimitriou on the piano and orchestration with many musicians.

For the needs of the show, a series of short videos were created and were played during it. Two of them are the eponymous "Everything changes" and "Cut Rope" based on poems by B. Brecht.
