The International Experimental Film Festival "Strange Screen" started in 2001 in Thessaloniki, organized by anemiCinema and completed its editions in 2010 leaving the best impressions.

 

During its 10 years, the festival presented to the audience productions of audiovisual works mainly by young artists, from Greece and abroad, who proposed an experimental style and seeked new formal solution of image, rhythm and narrative using either new or older techniques.

The program of the festival includes documentary screenings, experimental films, presentation of new creators, tributes, video-art, lectures, music events, performances, etc., always focusing on the moving image in its infinite manifestations.
